Thank you for visiting my blog, Healthy Balanced Future. I started this blog as a way to share my journey to reducing my family’s exposure to toxins, reducing waste and improving what we eat. This is a daily challenge as convenience is a priority for so many of us, myself included. Time and resources are limited, but when we take a step back and consider the length of our lives and the importance of our health, we realize every decision we make is critical.
Unlike many of the blogs out there, I am not a chef or a nutritionist or a health coach. I am just a mom who works a full time job has two young kids, drives a minivan and wants to do something to make the world a better place. The only thing I find harder than getting my kids to try new foods is standing on the sidelines.
I hope you enjoy what you find here and I hope it inspires you to think differently about what you eat, what you buy and what you throw away.
